Just another Republican swirling down the poop shoot. The Republican party's seeds are finally sowing. Decades of lies and corruption are coming around to expose their hypocracy. Not that the Dems are much better. The world is going bankrupt, and people are waking up to the games that have been played. Pigs get fat, but Hogs get Slaughtered! Smells like dead Hog around here.

Now that he has been found guilty on all counts, I am waiting for the Republican Party to blame it on the Democrats.

Fine way to end your career. Caught. Crime never pays. No matter how many generations of taxpayers you think won't find out.

Ted Stevens is the worst Senator in the Senate and they should censure him for bring such shame on the senate.

Alaska politics, State Legislators, Congressmen, Senators, all - in particular since the advent of the oil economy, has been a hotbed of low level corruption and payoffs. Both parties have their hands in the tills. Though it is a sad state of affairs. Stevens is so powerful that he might have expected to pull and few strings and wiggle out of this one. It is very good news that such a senior figure has finally been brought to account.

Sure, when a Republican gets caught out, it is always the Democrats who by their underhanded tricks set him up. Same old feeble minded argument directed to - and accepted by - the feeble minded. |
