Well, that sounds like the Left though. Say one thing, but do the opposite. The far right may be insane, but hey, at least we know what they want and what to expect right?

I did read up on CHP. The problem is how are you going to have a wind farm in the middle of your city? This is just nuts. Please explain how CHP supports wind energy? What is so stupid here is these folks talk about wind or solar, but then band together and protest the transmission of power! It called hypocrisy where I come from. These people are just plain whack jobs.

Here is a link to the video.watch?v=klooRS-JjyoI hope this has clarified the misunderstanding of CHP.

If you bothered to watch the Greenpeace video, you would have worded your reply differently.CHP supports all renewable resouces like wind, solar, geothermal and biomass. It does not support fossil fuels.

CHP is some magical bean power that runs on thin air? What is your energy source for these systems? These CHP systems get energy from fossil fuel. It seems darn funny that they are promoting a system that can't use wind, solar, or even geo-thermal. So, in other words, lets not use wind and solar power anymore? These people are nuts. They demonstrate in front of new housing developments one day, nuclear power plants the next (no co2 tax!), and a coal plant the next. These greens are nuts.

The reason the Green movement is against power lines is that they are pro CHP (Combined Heat and Power).Check out Greenpeace's video 'What are we waiting for' |
