ummmm.....the Shah was not a dictator you fool. do your fuckin research. he was trying to develop Iran into a Western country, much like the Arabs did with Dubai with God knows whose moneythe only reason the US had such a big problem with him is because he was going to control the oil supply, since Iran was a large exporter at the time. he believed that we should've stopped using oil and develop another form of fuel, because he believed that we were headed for an oil crisis in the near future
