Your holy book is NOT a historical account, fucktard.The earliest fragments ever found are postage stamp sized, are from stories that would eventually be forced into a collection of short stories(the Bible) AND date to a couple hundred years AFTER Jesus supposedly died.Whey didn't anyone write a single word about him during his life?It could be that he never lived.

well, if you will google bible archaelogy, you can find oodles of things even on wikiped. off the top of my head, Im thinking of the Library at Ebla, Hezekiah's tunnel, proof that the Hittites existed, proof that Pontius Pilate existed, the dead sea scrolls, and many others. i dont believe Turin is legimate either. and the bible does count as a source. why would it not? you want more sources. fine. but it does count, just like anybody's historical account of a situation would.

Judaism got it's ideas from Ancient Egyptians and Astrology, Christianity takes an awful lot from Astrology also....such as the Jesus story.... otherwise known as the story of the Equinox and Solstice.

Ok then give your references that prove this supposed historical and archaeological evidence, and the Bible itself does not count as a source. Nobody has found Noah's ark, the Shroud of Turin didn't date back to the correct time, all historical accounts of Jesus aside from gospel have been proven false except one in which the historian barely mentions in a sentence an "anointed one" which was a common term back then, so is hardly evidence. Textually consistent? That's a laugh.

The fact is, Christians are over 3/4 of the country, the reason they can raise so much money for any cause, weather it be giving money to 3rd world countries, wasting money sending missionaries to third world countries, and even have enough money afterwords to donate to the 700 club, is because of their massive numbers. The only thing that religion offers is a common belief that attracts peoples attention, you see the same sorts of things (on smaller scales) from even the NFL. Same Concept.
