Mike Gravel not getting elected is no real surprise for anyone. What's extremely sad is that he represents a palpable ideal that most people didn't really prefer. Why are people so easy to manipulate through pretty words and big colourful pictures? Is this really who we are?

Freddy and Fanny were told by the Clinton administration to award high risk loans. The government intervention always becomes a bigger problem with more Government intervention. Every time Obama uses the word FREE- Substitute: Tax payer money.

The Government is over-involvement in individual freedoms and imperialism around the World must end. Incarceration is out of control. Corrupt Government teaches 'the people' that it's okay to break (subjective)laws overspend and pass blame. It's up to YOU and ME to get motivated and educated. The only jobs available are in Public safety/Police and Corrections officers. This is how we have delt with high unemployment.

You need to understand that in the reality that exists we need government to play an even bigger role over Wall Street etc. Had the corporations not been allowed to get so big then yes I agree but first we need to use gov to bring down the corps then we can take on the gov and bring that down too.

canofsand,Jingoism - n. Extreme nationalism characterized especially by a belligerent foreign policy; chauvinistic patriotism. Everybody talking 'bout Politicians, Politicians, Politicians, Politicians,Nepotism, Patriotism, Jingoism, Jingoism, Fony Patriotism, & Jingoism...He's not equating all of these but instead it is a poetic devise used to highlight how a chain of ideas can be corrupted into ulterior meanings.
